India - The Topic is Over !!

How are politicians different from common man? They frame rules, expect people to follow saying, only then, they can re-define the country's future.

But, does the same rule come with any *Terms & Conditions* saying ‘Not applicable to politicians who rule people’?? Where is the nation marching towards?

From the day I started counting on my fingers, I kept hearing ‘India’ – developing country?? I feel ashamed to accept this fact anymore.

There happens a disaster killing people and then, they arrive expressing grief and announcing ex-Gratia. Everybody talks about it, sobs for a day or two, media expels its words at the leaders and their inefficiencies and then, everybody forgets.

Are those ex-Gratia funds not people’s money? Why don’t the so called leaders spend those funds creating a proper system before in hand and not wait until a tragedy happens for them to react?

We don’t want your condolences. Can you bring back the lost lives? Can you re-build a lost family ?

They expect common man to follow rules laid by them but, what are the leaders doing?

OK! I understand. They’re busy filling their pockets, breaking rules and seeking backdoor approvals for new business start-up’s, making serious plans about how to get even rich stabbing a common man’s resource, renege to keep up their promises.

Are the above stated, any sort of qualification to rule people in the largest democratic country like India?

A country with fastest growing economy, a country with huge human resource but, failing badly since years in establishing an administrative system. How can an administrative system be formed, if we sit at home and watch over hyped news that media channels telecast all through the day, week, months & years?

Our constitution say’s every individual has the ‘Right to Speech’. Cannot we question the so called ‘Rulers’? Are we dumb souls to sit and watch the ‘Puppet’ show?

Change doesn’t happen overnight just when a politician fulfills his election promise or when administrative rules are passed. How many of us really care to abide by them loyally ? If we cannot follow them, if we cannot question our rights, system & leaders then, we should not expect system to change.

Politicians don’t have a magic wand or they have not mastered make-up artistry to paint the walls of India ‘Clean & White’ and doll-up India as developed one. Everybody has an excuse to justify when questioned and so does politicians too.

If we cannot question, If we cannot fight back then, better we forget about developed India & stop expecting politicians to build an organized, orderly system for us

Now, I don’t want to get my fingers dirty here pointing at the in-efficient leaders nor, I don’t want to be judged for generalizing all politicians under one umbrella. One man like NAMO, chaired as PM cannot solely change the fate of the country. Yes, each soul of the country needs to change. I mean 100% change happens only if you, I & 1.2 billion decide to change.

Until then, Believe it or not! ‘India – A developed country’ will remain as a dream forever and ever.

P.S: Thank you for having read my opinion patiently. Now, please don’t judge me for sitting on a foreign land and writing some sort of crap about my mother land. Only if you get to experience life in a developed country, you will understand what it feels like to be in a country like ‘India’. No matter what, I love my country any day.
